About Us

Fred and I bought Startsmart in 2005.  We have worked really hard to try to  produce clothes that are super smart, classic, high quality and good value for money, quite a tall tree to climb, but I think we have done a good job. 

We have our clothes produced in Europe and a high percentage made in the UK.  We have two main delivery times a year - March and September and produce a brochure for the Autumn.  We also exhibit at several shows and outdoor events throughout the year, including Cheltenham Races and Burghley Horse Trials.
